3. Business Listings and Advertising (Business Owners)
If you claim a listing, upgrade to an Authority Profile, or purchase a VIP Community Billboard sponsorship, you are subject to the following terms:
- Accuracy of Representation: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about your business, including licensing, location, and contact details.
- Local Requirement: Our directory is strictly for businesses operating within and serving the Idaho Treasure Valley. We reserve the right to remove any business that does not meet our local criteria.
- Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to reject, suspend, or remove any business profile, advertisement, or listing that we deem inappropriate, fraudulent, or harmful to our community.
- Billing and Renewals: Paid services (such as the Authority Profile and VIP Billboard) are billed according to the terms agreed upon at checkout. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information remains up to date.
4. Job Board Terms and Conditions
The Boise Business Directory provides a local job board feature to connect Treasure Valley employers with local job seekers. By using the job board to post vacancies or apply for jobs, you agree to the following terms:
For Employers Posting Jobs:
- Accuracy and Legitimacy: You agree to post only genuine, legitimate employment opportunities located within or directly servicing the Idaho Treasure Valley.
- Prohibited Listings: You may not post multi-level marketing (MLM) positions, pyramid schemes, independent contractor opportunities disguised as employment, or jobs requiring an upfront fee or investment from the applicant.
- Compliance with Laws: You are solely responsible for ensuring your job postings comply with all applicable local, state, and federal labor and employment laws, including equal opportunity and anti-discrimination laws.
- Right to Remove: Because this is a free service provided to the community, we reserve the right to edit, suspend, or delete any job posting at our sole discretion, without notice or explanation, if we determine it violates our community standards or terms.
For Job Seekers:
- No Endorsement or Guarantee: The Boise Business Directory acts strictly as a digital venue for employers to post opportunities. We do not screen, vet, or endorse any employer, nor do we guarantee the accuracy of any job description or the availability of any position.
- Assumption of Risk: Applying for jobs and sharing your resume or personal information is done entirely at your own risk. It is your responsibility to verify the legitimacy and safety of any employer before sharing sensitive information (such as your social security number or bank details).
